Terms of sale and use

1. Orders

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it by email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when a price on the site is plainly wrong or a delivery address is outside the lower 48 states. If we cancel, we refund what you paid in full.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and listed per square foot of turf. The price of a turf line is its price per square foot times the area: 15 feet times the length you choose times the number of rolls. Payment is taken in full when you place the order. The payment page explains how.

A paid sample earns a $10 credit on a later turf order made with the same email address or phone number. Each sample is credited once, and the credit never exceeds the order total. Credits have no cash value.

3. Delivery and risk

Delivery terms are on the shipping page. Delivery dates are estimates. Risk of loss passes to you when the turf is delivered to the address on the order.

4. Returns, cancellations and warranty

Returns and cancellations follow the returns and refunds policy. The warranty is the only warranty we give on the turf.

5. Installation and the installer match

We sell turf and installation supplies. We do not sell or perform installation. When you ask for an installer match, we pass your request to an independent installer. The installer is not our employee or agent, sets their own price, and is responsible for their own work. Any agreement for installation is between you and the installer.

6. Product information

We list specifications as the manufacturer gives them. Photos show the turf as closely as we can, but color on a screen is not exact. Order a sample when color matters.

7. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or the cost of labor. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

8. Using this site

The text, photos and design of this site belong to us. You may use the site to research and buy turf. You may not copy it for commercial use, scrape it, or try to break or overload it.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The terms on the site when you place an order apply to that order.

10. Law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the seller is organized, except where the law of your state gives you rights that cannot be waived.
