Artificial turf in Lakeland, FL
Lakeland (Polk County) has about 122,264 residents. Here is what the local climate means for a turf lawn, which of our nine lines we would pick, and who can install it.
The climate in Lakeland, in numbers
Summer highs in Lakeland average 92 F. That is warm enough that a natural lawn needs regular watering from late spring through early fall.
Rainfall is heavy, about 57 inches a year. Turf with a fast-draining backing keeps the surface usable after a storm instead of muddy.
