Artificial turf in Largo, FL
Largo (Pinellas County) has about 82,248 residents. Here is what the local climate means for a turf lawn, which of our nine lines we would pick, and who can install it.
The climate in Largo, in numbers
Summer highs in Largo average 90 F. That is warm enough that a natural lawn needs regular watering from late spring through early fall.
Rainfall is heavy, about 54 inches a year. Turf with a fast-draining backing keeps the surface usable after a storm instead of muddy.
USDA hardiness zone 10a.
